Renovation: Notification Creation

 If you use SAP Service notifications, you know that speed is the name of the game, the more time a call center person needs to hunt for a field, the less likely it is they will populate the information.  Because getting customer information is so important, it is critical that your call center be given the most streamlined way to enter in a notification into SAP.  That's where Renovation can help.  This web application contains a screen purely for creating notifications.  We provide you full control, including what fields are shown, required and even where they show up on the screen.  This means your call center will quickly see all the data they have to populate without hunting or tabbing through the screen.  This saves time and gives the organization the information they need to improve quality and increase the speed of the repair.

Fully Configurable Layout
By giving your call center a simple streamlined format, you can increase the chances of getting all the information from the customer the first time.  In addition, different layouts can be configured for each segment of the business (for example EU vs. US).
Multiple Layouts within a single organization
We provide different notification "types" that can each have their own configuration as well.  This becomes especially valuable when you collect different information in different scenarios.  For example, certain fields may be required for in-house repairs, but are not required or needed for a return.  You can define the scenarios and the call center can quickly switch to the appropriate format.
Multiple Serial Numbers in a Single Notification
While we didn’t change standard SAP, but we did provide the tools to treat it like a single notification.  Using Renovation, you can enter in the data once, and then behind the scenes, we create a Parent notification, with one “child” for each serial number.  This provides you full history and traceability, while only entering in the data once.
Generate Repair Sales Orders

While this is a standard action box in SAP, we’ve taken this functionality to the next level.  Depending on how you configure Renovation, your multiple serial number notification can generate the repair sales order with one line for each serial number, or you can group them into similar materials.

In addition, we will pass the technical objects into the sales order line items, increasing the serial number historical ability and additional partners can be passed from the notification to the repair sales order.

Generate Return Sales Orders

This functionality seems like it should be standard, but unfortunately SAP doesn’t provide an easy way to link a notification to a return sales orders.  So we added this functionality to Renovation.  You can decide if you want to pull from an invoice, a sales order or no reference.  Select you document then you can pull in the items from your selected document, set the qty you wish to return, then execute the order creation.  Your document flow will reflect your service order, as well as the invoice/sales order.
